Trauma-informed therapy and EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach that has been proven to be very effective in treating PTSD and trauma symptoms. EMDR helps the brain reprocess distressing memories in a way that reduces their emotional intensity, while increasing feelings of safety and healing.

Art therapy

Art therapy is a unique, creative approach to expressing feelings during therapy. It is beneficial for those who may find it difficult to talk about their feelings, and can help reduce stress and improve self-confidence. Whether you or your child are coping with anxiety, depression, or life challenges, art therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to process emotions, gain insight, and improve coping skills. As a trained art therapist, I integrate creative expression with therapeutic guidance to help clients foster emotional well-being.

Talk therapy

Talk therapy provides a supportive environment to explore your thoughts and feelings through guided conversation. As a licensed professional counselor, I specialize in working with adults and teenagers experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship conflicts, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I also welcome children ages 6 and up. In talk therapy, we collaborate in building coping strategies to improve emotional well-being and strengthen resilience.
